Pay:

The determination of pay is influenced by factors including workload, difficulty, level of responsibility, qualifications, expertise, skills, and abilities. Oakhurst offers a competitive Pro-Salary first-year guaranteed base with production benefit/compensation.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
  • Oregon State license to practice veterinary medicine.
  • Board certified or board eligible, with a strong focus in lameness preferred.
  • Equine medical knowledge and experience.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ensure timely submisson of invoices and proper documentation for all services provided.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and their horses.
